S. Fredrik Sverre, M.Sc., R.P.Bio.- Aquatic and Terrestrial Biology, Aquaculture [+ Show][- Hide]
The principal and founder of Entech is S. Fredrik Sverre. Mr. Sverre is a Project Manager and Senior Scientist who has a Diploma in Business Administration from Norway, a Diploma in Renewable Resources Management from STAIS in Saskatoon, a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Lethbridge University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Master’s Degree in Ecology from Brock University, St. Catherine’s, Ontario. He has been practicing as an Environmental Consultant in the province of BC since 1973 and is one of the founding members of the Association of Professional Biologists (R.P.Bio. #2).
As the project manager and senior scientist, Mr. Sverre has concentrated on providing the best information possible consistent with tight scheduling and budget control. He has provided technical services, audits, planned and managed a great variety of projects, including environmental impact assessments of mining projects, gas pipelines, river diversion, hydro dams, transit route selection, industrial park development, borrow pit development, sewage treatment facilities, effluent monitoring, habitat mapping, airport developments and expansion, forest harvesting and construction sediment retention monitoring. During this period, his work has included inventories of and impact assessments on people, water quality, fisheries, vegetation, wildlife and land use, forestry, and others. He has been an advisory consultant to companies involved with land and soil remediation and reclamation, and waste recycling. The acquisition of approvals from government agencies in accordance with the environmental assessment and waste management regulations has been important parts of his work portfolio. He has prepared and conducted seminars on soil contamination, waste handling and hazardous waste, fisheries enhancement, aquaculture and worked with government agencies in developing industry guidelines. Projects have included work in Asia, Europe, North America and Middle East.
Lauren Goldsmith, – Environmental Consultant [+ Show][- Hide]
Lauren Goldsmith holds a degree from BCIT in environmental engineering technology, a diploma in Environmental Chemical Sciences, and has worked for ENTECH since 2014. Her expertise lies in UST Closure reports, project management, environmental fieldwork, and professional report development.
Dennis Bohme, P.Eng [+ Show][- Hide]
Dennis Bohme is a senior engineer and senior project manager with ENTECH. Possessing a geological engineering degree from the University of Montana coupled with a diploma in mining engineering, Dennis brings a wealth of experience in mine exploration, environmental liability assessments, EIAs, construction management services, and various other aspects within the natural resources industry.
Haris Jahic, B.Sc. Biology [+ Show][- Hide]
Haris Jahic holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Prince Edward Island and a Bachelor of Technology (Core Courses) in Environmental Engineering Technology from BCIT. Prior to joining ENTECh Mr. Jahic worked with Global Soils Solutions where he honed his skills in the assessment and logistics of Contaminated soils within the lower mainland. He brings to ENTECH a strong knowledge of BC CSR regulations, RAR Management, and Air Quality Management.
Alfred Heiman, B.A., ASTTBC- Economics, Project and Construction Management [+ Show][- Hide]
Alfred Heiman graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Joint Major Economics and Business Administration) and has a Diploma of Applied Science in Engineering Technology. He spent most of his professional life coordinating and managing medium and large investment, development and construction projects.
For example, he was the Project Manager for the development of Hemlock Valley, a ski resort in the Fraser Valley, BC; the Senior Project Manager for a project for the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) following the amalgamation of BCIT with the Pacific Vocational Institute; a Project Development consultant for a number of Canadian companies participating in joint venture projects in Mexico; Resident General Manager and Senior Project Manager in large development and construction projects in Africa, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe: a 2,500. unit residential development for the Ministry of Public Works and Housing of Nigeria, a Hyatt Regency 5 star Hotel in Port of Spain for the Government of Trinidad & Tobago, the first Class A Office Building in Bucharest, Romania and a 1,200,000. sq.ft. Shopping Centre in Timisoara, Romania.
Clayton Brenton, M.Sc., R.P.Bio. – Fisheries Biology, Aquaculture [+ Show][- Hide]
Clayton Brentonobtained his B.Sc. (Biology) from Simon Fraser University in 1974, and his M.Sc. (Marine Biology) from University of British Columbia in 1977. Mr. Brenton specializes in hands-on fish farm management and business planning. He has owned salmonid netpen operations in Canada and managed and/or consulted on fish farm projects in North America, South America, SE Asia and Australia. He is experienced in the innovative development/implementation of biological and technical programs including egg source selection, broodstock development, world technology exchange, hatchery design/construction, sea cage system development/installation, employee training, financing procurement, and general management coordination at all levels.
Murthy Bulusu, Ph.D. – Shrimp Culture [+ Show][- Hide]
Murthy Bulusu achieved his B.Sc.from Nagarjuna University, India (1984), his M.Sc. from Annamalai University, India (1986), and his Ph.D. from Andhra University, India (1992). Dr. Bulusu’s professional and academic experience includes production achievements while coordinating and managing shrimp hatcheries, new species identification, and the mentorship of students and entrepreneurs in the field of hatchery management. He is an expert with modern research technologies and biological methods concerning the maturation, food and feeding, age and growth and length frequency distribution of Crustaceans.
Fredrick H. Carpenter, B.Sc. – Fisheries, Native Issues [+ Show][- Hide]
Fredrick Carpenter holds a B.Sc. in Marine Biology and Oceanography from University of Victoria (1974). He specializes in First Nations representation, aquaculture development, salmon enhancement, and aboriginal fisheries. Fredrick spent twenty five years with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and acted as consultant or advisor for many aboriginal and non-aboriginal groups. He has a diverse background with experience as a commercial fisherman, field biologist, teacher, and National Research Council program administrator and promoter.
Tom Delaney, M.Sc., MBA, CEA – Economic Analysis [+ Show][- Hide]
Tom Delaney holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Guelph (1986), an M.B.A. from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and is a Certified Environmental Auditor with the Canadian Environmental Auditing Association. Mr. Delaney specializes in environmental auditing and management systems development. His experience also includes business planning, market studies, and best management practices. Industries to which Mr. Delaney has consulted include mining, electricity, forest products, food, chemical and waste management.

Norman Hansen holds a B.Sc. in Forestry from the University of British Columbia (1958). He has over 40 years experience in forestry as a manager and consultant. His consulting work has involved development of forest harvesting plans, road studies, and bioecosystem classification surveys. Norman has also worked as a contract instructor in forestry courses for Nicola Valley Institute Technology (NVIT) in Merritt.

Philip Johnson holds a B.A.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of British Columbia (1975) and a M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Guelph (1979). He is an industrial engineering consultant with more than 20 years of industrial experience in planning, design, feasibility, and project management. Mr. Johnson has domestic and international experience in industrial and agricultural dairy enhancement projects.

He is an accomplished environmental management specialist with over 20 years experience in aquaculture and fisheries management. Terry McGauley holds a B.Sc. (Biology) from Simon Fraser University in 1969, and a B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) from Washington State University in 1972. He is a professional engineer and scientist with over 30 years of experience in the development of engineering and process solutions for industrial, commercial and municipal projects in the fields of waste management, waste treatment, and environmental assessment. Paul Scott obtained his B.Sc. (Geology) from London University in 1991, followed by his M.Sc. (Geochemistry) from Leeds University in 1994. His experience as an Environmental Hydrogeologist spans eleven years and six countries, with his most recent seven years spent in Canada as a Hydrogeologist and Project Manager. His expertise is in fieldwork and project management for site assessments, hydrogeological site evaluations in tidally affected environments, and remediation projects. This expertise was developed on sites such as: gas stations, oil refineries, petrochemical plants, landfills, power stations, factories, hazardous waste facilities, rail-yards, and military bases.
